An Exceptionally Rare Vintage French Made, but Grecian Style Cameo of the Ancient Greek Goddess Ariadne, with Grape Vines in her hair. A Fabulous Vintage Ornate Chain. Hand made in Australia for Lovers Everywhere.
Ariadne was an Ancient Goddess of Crete and Later Greece who Married Dionysus the God of Wine Making. She was known as a Goddess who Eased Suffering, bringing Joy and the Divine to her Followers.
She helped Theseus to slay the great Minotaur Bull in Crete and rescued its victims. She was a regal and courageous heroine and one who we may all gladly honour today.
