The art of bone inlay is specific to the region of Udaipur in India, where this meticulous skill is handed down from generation to generation. Working in the family home, three craftsmen are involved. The first hand-carves camel bone into delicate shapes; the second affixes those  pieces onto a wooden furniture frame in intricate patterns; The third fills in around the bone with coloured resin background. The process takes many weeks to complete.

Care Instructions:

Bone inlay furniture has a porous surface. You can have these sealed prior to use to avoid staining. Clear grout sealant, available from most hardware stores, is suitable for this task.
To clean unsealed bone inlay products, wipe with a dry cloth.
Made with natural materials so best to keep out of direct sunlight and avoid excessive heat.
