Biljana is a world renowned photographer.

Her work is sourced from her travels to the remote villages and tribes from some of the most isolated corners of Africa.

Biljana has exhibited in many countries, including the UAE, New York, Paris, Barcelona and has been published in numerous magazines.

With the advent of the worldwide pandemic, Biljana was in an artistic void, so commenced her journey of discovery through painting. It was a way of blocking out the darkness of the world and ordering her thoughts. Unlike photography where she is immersed in others, painting allows her to explore on her own- with only yourself, no distractions, no phones, no people just the brush, music and colour. It gives her freedom to be free in ideas and thoughts, it allows her deep memories to surface and become inspiration.

In Biljana's studio there are no rules- she paints where she wishes, on what she wishes, how she wishes- her pure joy!

Travel has always served as the creative inspiration for Biljana's artwork. Her work is built on experiencing the unexpected and the unknown. Biljana's artwork have become a dairy of her travels, communicating the essence of faraway destinations, communities and culture. A colourful infusion of imagery and personal experiences transferred into her art.
